Res. Hall Manager (Incl. Room, Board) oversees all activities of a residence hall. Oversees the maintenance and renovation, purchase and inventory of supplies, assignment of rooms and summer housing, and housekeeping functions. Being a Res. Hall Manager (Incl. Room, Board) is responsible for student housing assignment, maintenance of facilities, and safety of residents. Ensures students follow college/university conduct policies and takes appropriate disciplinary actions when rules are broken. Additionally, Res. Hall Manager (Incl. Room, Board) room and board in the residence hall is included in the terms of employment. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Res. Hall Manager (Incl. Room, Board) supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. To be a Res. Hall Manager (Incl. The Morgan County SB40 Board is seeking an applicant for the position of Targeted Case Manager. The candidate will coordinate supports and services intended to assist individuals in maximizing their independence and wellbeing. These supports and/or services may be natural, funded, or local community resources.
Support Coordination duties include assessment, planning for provision of appropriate services and supports, coordination, monitoring and evaluation of service delivery of authorized supports and services for the individual, and advocacy for individual and family.
Looking for an individual with an understanding of family systems and human dynamics, knowledge of developmental disabilities, strong organizational skills, a demonstrated ability to work independently and cooperatively as part of an interdisciplinary team, strong written/verbal communication skills.
The employee will represent MCBDD in the public with professionalism, dignity, and respect for others.
Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work or related human services field is preferred. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment. All employees must have a valid driver’s license, dependable transportation, and insurance.
