Res. Hall Manager (Incl. Room, Board) oversees all activities of a residence hall. Oversees the maintenance and renovation, purchase and inventory of supplies, assignment of rooms and summer housing, and housekeeping functions. Being a Res. Hall Manager (Incl. Room, Board) is responsible for student housing assignment, maintenance of facilities, and safety of residents. Ensures students follow college/university conduct policies and takes appropriate disciplinary actions when rules are broken. Additionally, Res. Hall Manager (Incl. Room, Board) room and board in the residence hall is included in the terms of employment. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Res. Hall Manager (Incl. Room, Board) supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. To be a Res. Hall Manager (Incl. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a commercial insurance account, managing client relations, and providing accurate and timely information to account executives and our insureds. You will need strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, knowledge of insurance products and usage, and the ability to multitask in order to be successful in this role. If you have a passion for insurance and customer service, then this could be the perfect role for you. This position is an in office position Monday thru Friday 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.. Hybrid remote and flexible schedule opportunities may be available after training depending on experience level.
Preferred Skills and Requirements:
- At least 2 years of property and casualty insurance experience (commercial lines preferred)
- Experience with Applied Epic agency management system beneficial but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and being comfortable with technology are required.
- Property and Casualty License required.
