Res. Hall Manager (No Room, Board) oversees all activities of a residence hall. Responsible for student housing assignment, maintenance of facilities, and safety of residents. Being a Res. Hall Manager (No Room, Board) ensures students follow college/university conduct policies and takes appropriate disciplinary actions when rules are broken. Incumbent is not given room and board at the residence hall as part of the employment arrangement. Additionally, Res. Hall Manager (No Room, Board) oversees maintenance and renovation, purchase and inventory of supplies, assignment of semester rooms and summer housing, housekeeping functions, and management of student conduct and discipline. Room and board in the residence hall is not included in the terms of employment. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Res. Hall Manager (No Room, Board) supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. To be a Res. A busy multi-production graphics firm looking for a Customer Service representative. We currently work with customers on signs, stickers, vehicle wraps, screen printing, embroidery, engraving and other productions. We are looking for someone to add to our team that is interested in being the connection for our customers to their orders and to clearly communicate to fellow team members what the customer is wanting for their order.
Responsibilities-
Work to take orders at the front counter and also through phone and email for designs from customers that might be used in a variety of production (eg, Screen Printing, Embroidery, Engraving, Vehicle Wraps and more)
Work with customers to find the products that meet their needs and give them pricing
Develop and maintain a working knowledge of the products and services we offer
Answering phone calls
Cash Handling
Help with the displays and upkeep of the front showroom
Ability to self manage, multi-task and be accountable for responsibilities
Requirements-
Knowledge of computer software- Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc)
Excellent Communication skills with the ability to interact, communicate, and present ideas professionally
Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds
We use computers daily and a willingness to learn the process to access information is a must.
Understanding of design workings - fluidity of type and fonts with designs, keen eye for details, keeping things consistent in a design idea
Skills of creativity and problem solving with a teamwork attitude
Patience when talking through ideas with customers and when finding the right product for their order
Helpful-
Knowledge of software for designs (Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop In Adobe Design
Knowledge of any of the decoration processes we use - screen printing, embroidery, signs, engraving, vehicle wraps
Full Time or Possibly Part Time-- Permanent position Monday - Friday
