The Brews Hall @ Hermosa Beach, The South Bay’s best and busiest restaurant located on the Hermosa Beach Pier, is seeking a hardworking and enthusiastic Expo/Runner to join our team!

We are looking for that true “utility player” who loves to stay busy and learn multiple jobs! This is a fast paced, hospitality focused position. If you love interacting with people, this job is for you!

Compensation:

Base hourly rate of $15.50 an hour plus tips! | Share in tip pool (approx. $1- $6 additional per hour depending on sales) | $200 / month towards medical insurance (Full time only) | Sick Pay | Free meal per shift | 401K | Employee Assistance Program | Employee Referral Bonuses | Restaurant & Hotel Discounts | Work by the beach! |

If you are hired, you will join a team, who continuously focus on providing the best service and quality food to the south bay area. You will also be supported by a company who provides you all the resources to be successful and grow.

What you will do…

• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
• Set up and clean tables as needed to ensure a clean dining area.
• Complete closing duties, including restocking items, checking silverware dispensers, etc.
• Keep uniform and personal appearance clean and professional.
• Anticipate and address guests' service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
• Interact with guests, ensuring they are having a great time and have everything they need. 
• Obtain service area assignments at the beginning of each shift
• Effective communication with all FOH staff
• Maintain and clean self-service areas, side stations, floors, furniture, check bathrooms, checking trash cans to make sure they are not overflowing, etc.
• Keep visible public areas clutter-free.
• Remove, return to the storage area and clean condiments, maintenance and cleaning of side stations, floors, furniture, take trays to the dish pit, and throw away all paper and plastic ware.
• Wipe down tables and seats
• Help run food when needed

 This position is for you if you have…

• At least 1 year of experience as busser, runner or expo
• Strong work ethic, self awareness, empathy, and positive attitude
• Has a good sense of urgency
• Ability to think quick on their feet and multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Resourceful and organized with clean work habits & attention to detail
• Guest oriented with a high focus on delivering quality service
• Handle pressure well along with the ability to set priorities and make decisions based on quality.
• A flexible schedule, including the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• The desire and ability to interact with guests
