Res. Hall Manager (No Room, Board) oversees all activities of a residence hall. Responsible for student housing assignment, maintenance of facilities, and safety of residents. Being a Res. Hall Manager (No Room, Board) ensures students follow college/university conduct policies and takes appropriate disciplinary actions when rules are broken. Incumbent is not given room and board at the residence hall as part of the employment arrangement. Additionally, Res. Hall Manager (No Room, Board) oversees maintenance and renovation, purchase and inventory of supplies, assignment of semester rooms and summer housing, housekeeping functions, and management of student conduct and discipline. Room and board in the residence hall is not included in the terms of employment. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Res. Hall Manager (No Room, Board) supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. To be a Res. TOOL ROOM MANAGER
Location: Costa Mesa, CA
Pay: $100,000 – 125,000 yearly
Schedule: Monday - Friday (7AM – 3:30PM)The Tool Room Manager will oversee all phases of tool making, including spare components and equipment necessary to perform duties. They are responsible for all tool room personnel and ensuring efficient and effective tool design with minimal production downtime due to tooling problems.
Duties Include:
- · Manufacturing and maintaining injection molds as per customer requirements.
- · Ensuring all molds receive proper preventive maintenance.
- · Providing tool build and delivery quotes based on customer prints or files.
- · Collaborating on tool design and providing final approval based on customer requirements.
- · Supervising and assigning mold makers and programmers to tool room jobs.
- · Managing tool room team and tool builds to ensure on-time delivery of completed tools.
- · Leading troubleshooting and facilitating problem-solving for ongoing tool/equipment issues.
- · Verifying completion of all tooling/equipment repairs.
- · Working with Q.C. and production to maintain product quality for tools/fixtures.
- · Specifying and ordering all mold steel, bases, components, and supplies.
- · Supporting and maintaining tooling database (IQMS) and all 3D & 2D files for tooling and fixtures.
- · Managing tooling builds performed at approved tooling suppliers from quote to final delivery.
- · Performing mold maker duties on a daily basis.
- ·_ Must adhere to ISO 9001 / AS9100 / ISO 13485 Quality Systems Procedures._
- · Must adhere to GMP, Safety Practices, and ITAR.
Minimum qualifications and experience requirements:
- Recommended 10-15 years of mold/die making and/or tool room management experience.
- Experience with CNC programming/operating, Sinker EDM programming/operating, manual mill operation, and surface grinder operation required.
- Strong organizational, time management, and prioritizing skills essential.
- Proficiency in reading, designing, and analyzing technical drawings necessary.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and Master Cam Software packages preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
