Starting salary $65,000 per year
JOB SUMMARY
Position within a research and quality assurance setting, requiring extensive time in all aspects of data collection and extraction, study design, data procurement, and quantitative analysis for multiple projects and quality assurance initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Plays a leading role in the data-driven outcome and quality improvement efforts of The Village programs.
Sits on the agency Quality Council committee and plays a lead role in quality improvement initiatives.
Independently conducts data analysis and reports and presents results to internal and external data consumers, providing technical assistance to non-research staff on research methods and findings.
Selects appropriate measurement tools, and develops data collection forms, surveys, and procedures for studies and outcome tracking.
Reviews agency information and operations support systems for timeliness and accuracy of data to create agency wide process and outcome reports.
Manages annual reporting of client outcomes and statistics used for quality improvement, executive management planning, and marketing purposes.
Secures and manages ad hoc data reports to support grant writing staff.
Submits accurate and timely data to external funding sources for assigned programs.
Conducts extraction of current and historical client records via data warehouse and individual client data bases.
Supports the creation of agency dashboard and works with programs on interpretation and usage of the data.
Reviews existing research to inform study designs, and to compare agency results with local and national trends.
Insures the orderly and timely flow of information to the department to allow for production of accurate and timely reports.
Supervising research and data staff as assigned.
Required Experience:
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, human services, research, statistics or related field.
EXPERIENCE
5 Years research/analytic experience.
Proven statistical skills and intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including the creation of pivot tables supporting charts and graphs in Word and/or PowerPoint. (required)
Data base query experience (required)
Ability to interpret large amounts of data. (required)
Excellent writing, communication, and data presentation skills (required)
Experience leading quality improvement efforts or process improvement projects. (preferred)
Survey design and experience with Survey Monkey (preferred)
Ability to work within a team environment, and to provide technical assistance within management teams.
Ability to work with minimal supervision, and to independently determine focus and methods of analysis.
Possess solid general computer skills, including ability to work in a Windows environment.
Physically able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.
