Leo’s Pet Care in Carmel, IN is looking for a full-time associate to join our family-oriented practice.

Led by Dr. Greg Magnusson, the highest-rated veterinarian in Indianapolis, Leo’s Pet Care is a bustling practice that offers general services, as well as emergency and urgent care in Carmel, Indiana.

We are a full-service practice that has provided quality care to dogs and cats. Our dedicated team includes a large and experienced support staff who provide exceptional care. We are a fast-paced hospital that is looking for an individual who can develop a rapport with clients and has a passion for medicine and surgery including spay/neuter, dentistry, and routine surgeries. Our ideal candidate would possess strong communication skills, allowing them to easily explain physical examination findings, treatment plans, and follow-up care to our clients. Quality is our focus, as our compassionate team works together to provide the highest standard of care for our patients.

While experienced DVMs can enjoy a support staff ratio of 3:1, collaboration with Dr. Magnusson, who has 20 years of experience in veterinary medicine, and a family-like culture to help you breeze through the workday. Our team also enjoys practicing in a recently designed and remodeled building!

Mentorship

For new grads who join our team, we invest our time to ensure you get the support, time, and guidance for your first job out of vet school. Our approach to bringing new grads aboard includes:

  Structured orientation and mentorship program, including 1 on 1 surgical training with Dr. Magnusson.
• Opportunities for Zoom calls and round table discussions with other new and recent graduates.
• New grad peer advisors for networking and support as you navigate your first DVM position.
• Microsoft Teams discussions to connect you with experienced vets for case reviews, connection, and advice.
