Responsibilities:
This position is a training/experience position for individuals
with a degree (DVM or equivalent) or applicable course of foreign study in
veterinary medicine. The position reports to Clinical Veterinarians and will
assist with therapeutic, surgical, and diagnostic
support for several NHP breeder programs:
Responsibilities include providing therapeutic, surgical, and diagnostic
support for several non-human primate breeder programs
under the supervision of a Clinical veterinarian. Emphasis on preventative
medicine and emergency medical care and didactic interaction with Clinical
Veterinarians.

Qualifications:
DVM/VMD from an AVMA- accredited school of veterinary medicine that is interested in training; or a course of study in veterinary medicine from outside of the United States. Training with all aspects of preventative and emergency medicine in Nonhuman primates will be provided. A highly motivated, self-starter type of individual is sought. Interpersonal/communication skills are essential.
