    You are a skilled, experienced, and compassionate Veterinary Technician. You will be responsible for assisting our veterinarians in providing high-quality medical care to our patients, as well as providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assist veterinarians with exams, procedures, and surgeries as needed.
    • Administer medications, vaccines, and other treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian.
    • Obtain and record patient history, vital signs, and other medical information accurately and efficiently.
    • Perform diagnostic tests such as bloodwork, urinalysis, and radiographs.
    • Ensure that all medical equipment is maintained and in good working order.
    • Provide compassionate care to our patients and communicate effectively with their owners.
    • Maintain patient medical records accurately and up to date.
    • Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and restocking exam rooms and treatment areas.
    • Adhere to OSHA and clinic safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
    • Participate in training and development programs offered by the clinic or external providers.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, trends, and best practices.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a veterinary technician program preferred.
    • At least 2 years of experience working as a veterinary technician in a veterinary clinic, animal hospital, or related field.
    • Knowledge of animal care, anatomy, pharmacology, and medical terminology.
    • Experience with veterinary software, medical records management, and basic computer skills.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, take initiative, and problem-solving.
    • Must have reliable transportation and attendance.
    • Physical Requirements:
    • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
    • Ability to stand for extended periods of time and perform repetitive motions.
