    Hope Springs Veterinary proudly serves the Hampton Roads area. With two locations in Virginia Beach, and our third in Chesapeake, Virginia, we have gotten to experience all the Coastal Virginia area has to offer. From numerous outdoor activities to the boardwalk in Virginia Beach, exploring the first U.S. settlement in Jamestown to walking along the shores to see lighthouses, here in the coastal Virginia area there is something for everyone!

    What You’ll Be Working On

    ● Build and maintain client relationships

    ● Diagnose, treat and manage a variety of small companion animal cases

    ● Provide education to clients and staff on recommendations and choices in care

    ● Maintain a positive work environment

    ● Guide, utilize, and mentor exceptional support staff

    Qualifications

    ● Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited program required

    ● Be licensed or able to be licensed in the state of Virginia

    ● A minimum of two years of experience preferred; open to new grads too

    ● Routine surgical and dental experience required

    ● Experience working with ultrasound preferred

    ● Experience working in an emergency setting and/or with acupuncture is a PLUS!

    ● Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner is a PLUS!

    ● Highly motivated, with a desire to lead our amazing team

    ● Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

    ● Demonstrated compassion for patients and clients

    ● Ability to collaborate and work within a team environment
