A Typical Day

The Research Associate will resolve written inquiries, requests for information, disputes, and general complaints received from customers, third parties and or attorneys.

The Research Associate will:

• Ensure correspondence being worked is labeled and dispositioned to the appropriate area for prompt and error free handling
• Write response letters to customers/third parties in an error-free, professional and courteous manner, including providing copies of requested documents
• Verify all Federal and State requirements are adhered to- including CFPB/RESPA to include: system-generated acknowledgment/extension and resolution letters are mailed in accordance with RESPA time frames
• Identify and escalate breakdowns and provide suggestions to improve overall customer experience, reduce repeats, suggest process efficiencies and improve service levels
• Meet productivity, quality and SLA standards
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned
• Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values

What You’ll Bring

• Thorough knowledge of RESPA/CFPB as it pertains to notice of error and information requests
• Strong customer service background
• Must be highly proficient in Excel and Word
• Proficient in multiple functions within Research and Correspondence

Compensation: Individual salary may vary based on multiple factors including specific role, geographic location / market data, and skills and experience as defined below:

• Lower in range - Building skills and experience in the role
• Mid-range - Experience and skills align with proficiency in the role 
• Higher in range - Experience and skills add value above typical requirements of the role 

Some roles may be eligible for performance-based compensation and/or stock-based incentives awarded to employees based on company and individual performance.
