Program Summary
This is a temporary, full-time position. Research and Rural Development is seeking a qualified individual that has the motivation and skill set to succeed in a team-based environment. Under general direction of the Department Director or their designee, the candidate will review, curate, and draft energy efficiency, renewable energy, and other housing related material for internal and external stakeholders; assist with administrative, budgeting, and accounting tasks, assist with preparing program summaries and reports; participate in energy efficiency and conservation education content development; collaborate with staff on projects related to dissemination of housing information; and assist with other department project activities.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of: Administrative and project management techniques and standard workflow practices.
Skills: Strong skill with computer software programs including Microsoft Suite or equivalent word processing. Skills must include excellent organizing, research, and attention to detail.
Abilities to: Work independently with minimal supervision; communicate effectively in written and oral form; ability to read, comprehend, and interpret State and Federal laws, rules, and regulations; use reference materials, manuals, and guides related to the work; identify discrepancies or inaccuracies in data and make corrections.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Any combination of education, training and experience equivalent to graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor's degree. Training and experience preferred although not required.

This is a level 1 internship position with an hourly rate of $20.00.
