Job Description
We are looking for a Sales Development Manager extraordinaire to join our fast-paced Sales team at ProShop. You will be the driving force behind our sales growth, leading a team of talented BDRs and SDRs. The Sales Development Manager will help your team master the art of outbound cold calls, building relationships, and opening doors for potential opportunities. Your expertise in building relationships and maximizing conversions will be instrumental in accelerating ProShop’s revenue growth. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of high-performing Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) and Business Development Representatives (BDRs)
- Directly impacting and improving our day-to-day processes
- Mentoring/coaching team members, and providing regular feedback to all team members. Conducts 1:1 weekly/bi-weekly meetings with the team
- Building training plans for the team
- Rewarding performance, preventing issues, and resolving conflicts.
- Work closely with the VP of Sales to set sales targets and develop strategies to achieve them
- Train and coach BDRs and SDRs to improve their prospecting and qualification skills
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to optimize lead generation and conversion
- Monitor and analyze sales metrics to identify areas for improvement
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Drive the growth of the sales pipeline
- Assist in the recruiting for the BDR and SDR team
- Attend interviews with People and Culture
- Assist with any technical questions that may arise during the introduction meeting
- Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor activities
- Monitoring outbound activities such as call and email volume
Requirements
- Must be based in North America
- 2-5 years of experience as a Sales Development Manager with a background as an Account Executive or in a similar closing position
- Ability to coach and hold team members accountable for results
- Ability to think strategically to build a team, but tactical enough to execute on a day-to-day basis
- Solid understanding of reporting, forecasting, and SaaS sales processes
- Outstanding communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Proficiency in CRM software
- Experience in the software and manufacturing industry
- Project management skills and knowledge of sales KPIs evaluation
- A results-driven mindset and passion for driving business growth
Salary Range: Pay Rate: This compensation range takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to geographic locations, job family, job-related skills, experience and relevant training or education, business and organizational needs.
CAD $86,800 - 133,700 Commission
US: $89,200 - $137,500 Commission
