The employee will spend at least 70% of their time performing job duties that include but are not limited to:

1. Responsible for understanding and abiding by all applicable cGTP and cGMP regulations and guidelines as set forth by FDA and voluntary accrediting agencies

4. Policies/Procedures: Adheres to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), protocols, company policies, regulatory and accreditation agencies. Supports and understands company mission, vision and values.  Complies with risk management and total quality management programs.
5. Performance Improvement: Maintains education and development appropriate for position. Assist with growth of department and company with professional growth.
6. Position Specific Essential Criteria: Assist with product development using hematopoietic and mesenchymal stem cells for indications within cell therapy and regenerative medicine
7. Perform laboratory studies and validations.
8. Remain proficient in laboratory techniques such as cell culture, flow cytometry, cell selections, and tissue processing.
9. Assist all research and development projects to completion.
10. Gain academic knowledge in the field of Cellular Therapy and Regenerative Medicine.
11. Review and adhere to standard operating procedures and policies.
12. Assist in risk management activities.
13. Maintains database of research specimens

Qualifications

Position is located in Oldsmar, FL

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Science

Experience

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in research.
• Experience in assay development, validation, blood and tissue processing, cryopreservation, flow cytometry, cell quantification, immunoassays and colony-forming unit analyzes is required.

Specialized Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Proficient with cell and tissue culture, flow cytometry, immunoassays, immunomagnetic cell separation, and cryopreservation.
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of sterile technique and clean room protocols is essential.
