The R&D Pilot Plant Summer Intern will work in a new state-of-the-art Milk Innovation Center, bringing innovation and continuous improvements to a state-of-the-art cold loop temperature-controlled milk processing facility. This facility produces fresh cream, milk protein concentrates/isolates, milk permeate powders, and other functional milk ingredients. They will be involved in process and product improvements, conducting lab scale, benchtop, and pilot plant experiments, commercialization studies for new products, conducting milk ingredient applications in food products, and performing analytical work.
