Reservoir Engineering Manager plans and directs all aspects of engineering studies regarding the identification, evaluation, and development of oil and gas reserves within a region. Oversees the process of estimating, assessing, and planning oil and gas production and development projects. Being a Reservoir Engineering Manager ensures all projects, initiatives, and processes are in conformance with the organization's established policies and objectives. Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering. Additionally, Reservoir Engineering Manager typically reports to top management. The Reservoir Engineering Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Roadway Team Lead / Project Manager

  • A. Morton Thomas, Inc. (AMT, Inc.) is seeking a highly motivated Transportation Project Manager to assume a key role in the firm’s growing Carolinas design team. Qualified candidates will possess a preferred 15 years of experience working on Transportation projects in South Carolina.

     

    The Position: 

    We are looking for a Roadway Team Lead and Project Manager to support a wide variety of transportation projects in South Carolina.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for the oversight and design of SC transportation projects, managing project resources, workload planning, staff assignments, invoicing, progress reports, client coordination, and supervising entry level and junior level engineers.  A thorough working knowledge of SCDOT plan production is preferred.

     

    This position will be assigned to our Charleston, SC Team, but the possibility exists to be involved in projects managed at any of our AMT office locations as the need were to arise.

    Qualifications
    • BS in Civil Engineering and Registered Professional Engineer
    • Minimum of 10-15 years of Roadway Design experience
    • Ability to manage all aspects of transportation design projects
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Experience with MicroStation / Geopak / Corridor Modeling / ORD
    • Experience with plans involving drainage, transportation management plans, and structures 
    • Project Management responsibilities could also include scope and fee development, scheduling, progress reporting, and invoicing
    • In addition to the basic requirements above, the ideal candidate should be technically sound, enjoy mentoring junior staff, and have a passion for outstanding client service
