Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Resident Manager to oversee a 35-unit residential property located in Rancho Mirage, CA 92270. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, proficiency in computer usage, and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in property management.
This position is part-time, requiring 10 to 20 hours per week. Compensation for this role includes a one-bedroom, one-bath unit. The candidate must be willing and able to relocate to the property.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage day-to-day operations of the residential property.
2.Respond to tenant inquiries and address maintenance issues promptly.
3.Conduct property inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
4.Maintain accurate records of tenant leases, rent payments, and maintenance
requests.
5.Coordinate with maintenance staff and external vendors for property repairs and
upkeep.
6.Enforce property rules and regulations to ensure a safe and harmonious living
environment for all residents.
7. Handle Leasing, leases and move-in and move-out process, including advertising units,
showing apartments, processing rental applications, applicant verifications and lease signings
8 .Respond to Employer phone calls and texts and emails Send / Deliver invoices
9.Address any tenant concerns or disputes in a professional and timely manner.
10. Collect and bank rent payments and maintain rent records (keep Google sheets up to date)
11. be responsible for all apartments and any Property keys.
12. Responsible for monthly tenant lectrice usage reporting
Qualifications:
1. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
2. Proficiency in using computer software for property management tasks.
3. Previous experience in property management is preferred but not required.
4. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
5. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
6. Knowledge of local landlord-tenant laws and regulations.
