    Responsibilities

    • Ensure the patient and resident is at the center of every decision;• Serve as the center abuse coordinator. Strives to ensure the safety of all residents within the center; ensures education and understanding of all team members of abuse recognition, protecting and reporting responsibilities; responds swiftly to any allegation of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation by protecting, investigating and making any required reporting;• Serve as the center Grievance Official. The Grievance Official’s contact information, including phone number and email address, will be readily available to any resident or family member who requests it;• Ensure compliance with State and Federal Regulations; • Ensure adoption of Diversicare policies, guidelines and standards;• Ensure all elements of the Diversicare culture are embedded in the daily operations of the center;• Ensure that quality care and services is provided to all patients, residents and that it meets the satisfaction of the patient, resident, family, physicians and other partners;• Lead an effective Quality Assurance and Process Improvement (QAPI) Program; • Ensure an effective Workforce Management Program is in place, including but not limited to, timely performance management; recruitment; retention; onboarding; orientation; training; and Team Member engagement;• Ensure effective stewardship is in place to meet budgetary commitments;• Ensure the center has active community involvement;• Develop an effective business plan designed to meet community and marketplace needs;• Seek assistance and works collaboratively with regions and BSC Support Teams to meet Center Business Plans and commitments;• Act as center compliance officer liaising with the Chief Compliance Officer to ensure adherence to the code of conduct and commitment to integrity;• Ensure that the Center has policies and procedures that reflect that the Administrator is required to provide appropriate notices in the event of a ‘facility’ closure per the language of the Conditions of Participation.

    Qualifications

    • BS/BA Degree from an Accredited College in Healthcare Administration or a related healthcare field preferred• Current Nursing Home Administrator License • Experience in the Post-Acute Care setting• Demonstrated ability to manage team performance in a fast-paced environment• Must have excellent people skills and be able to engage and connect with guests, families, team members, and other leaders.• Proven ability to utilize strong cognitive skills, including problem analysis, decision making, and financial analysis.• Must be able to work flexible hours based on the needs of the center.• Demonstrated strength in organization, planning and management.
