Residential Administrator - Nursing Home administers the day to day operations of the community's residential living units. Ensures proper accommodations for each resident. Being an Residential Administrator - Nursing Home builds good relationships with residents and families and participates in resident assessments to help identify needs and changes in condition. Implements and monitors safety protocols. Additionally, Residential Administrator - Nursing Home address complaints and resolve problems. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Residential Administrator - Nursing Home supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department.     Responsibilities

    • Establish financial and programmatic goals for the facility and conduct an annual evaluation of goal achievement.
    • Provide input into the annual operating budget.
    • Monitor monthly performance of facility in relation to the budget and intervene as needed.
    • Recruit, hire and provide orientation/training for a sufficient number of qualified staff to carry out facility programs and services.
    • Interpret and assure implementation of company policies and procedures.
    • Insure the highest quality of care is provided at all times.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of bachelor's degree or equivalent. Advanced degree preferred.
    • Proven leadership ability with at least three (3) years of experience as an administrator in either a long-term or sub-acute care facility.
    • Current administrator's license in the state.
