Residential Administrator - Nursing Home administers the day to day operations of the community's residential living units. Ensures proper accommodations for each resident. Being an Residential Administrator - Nursing Home builds good relationships with residents and families and participates in resident assessments to help identify needs and changes in condition. Implements and monitors safety protocols. Additionally, Residential Administrator - Nursing Home address complaints and resolve problems. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Residential Administrator - Nursing Home supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be an Residential Administrator - Nursing Home typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     The Nursing Home Administrator is responsible for the day to day operations to include Operations, Clinical, HR functions, Training and Regulatory requirements, to name a few key areas. The candidate MUST HAVE A NURSING HOME LICENSE active in Nebraska. The best candidate will have a proven track record in leading change and adjustments of a facility under the current operating environgment of state and federal requirements.

    The candidate MUST have:

    Nursing Home License that is active for NE

    Bachelors degree or higher

    3 - 8 years experience as a nursing home administrator

    The best qualified candidate will have a proven track record in operating a nursing home in a COVID environment with a strong understanding of the regulatory compliance to include an ability to build relationships to both internal and external


    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Must be able to move intermittently throughout the day, proper body mechanics required—bending, stooping, turning, stretching, reaching above the shoulders are involved
    • Must be able to cope with the mental, emotional, and physical stress of the position.
    • Must be able to observe, listen and communicate effectively
    • Must function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, support agencies, and outside agencies
    • Must be able to relate to and work with the ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile people within the facility
