Residential Administrator - Nursing Home jobs in Schenectady, NY

Residential Administrator - Nursing Home administers the day to day operations of the community's residential living units. Ensures proper accommodations for each resident. Being an Residential Administrator - Nursing Home builds good relationships with residents and families and participates in resident assessments to help identify needs and changes in condition. Implements and monitors safety protocols. Additionally, Residential Administrator - Nursing Home address complaints and resolve problems. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Residential Administrator - Nursing Home supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be an Residential Administrator - Nursing Home typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     • Must have a valid NYS LPN License in current good standing
    • Previous experience working in a nursing home strongly preferred
    • Previous experience using PointClickCare preferred
    • Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
    • Requires frequent standing, sitting, kneeling, stooping, bending, pulling and lifting
    • Must be willing to provide resident care based on facility need
    • Must have a positive team approach and attitude
    • Previous managment experience is preferred

    Shifts:

    • First shift: 6a-2p
    • Second shift: 2-10p
    • Third shift: 10p-6a

    Full time benefits/package includes:

    Second/third shift differentials/weekend differential, health/dental and vision insurance after 90 days and 401k after one year of employment.
