Residential Administrator - Nursing Home administers the day to day operations of the community's residential living units. Ensures proper accommodations for each resident. Being an Residential Administrator - Nursing Home builds good relationships with residents and families and participates in resident assessments to help identify needs and changes in condition. Implements and monitors safety protocols. Additionally, Residential Administrator - Nursing Home address complaints and resolve problems. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Residential Administrator - Nursing Home supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be an Residential Administrator - Nursing Home typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. A Nursing Home located in the Worcester, MA area is looking for an Administrator.
Primary purpose of this leadership position is to direct the day-to-day functions of a nursing and rehab facility in accordance with current Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern long-term care facilities to assure that the highest degree of quality care can be provided to the residents at all times.
Nursing Home Administrators often work non-standard hours, and/or more than forty hours per week, and may be on-call on nights, weekends, and holidays. The Nursing Home Administrator role leads and partners with Departments Heads in providing a coordinated management of both the clinical and the business aspects of running the facility. Time is spent interacting with residents, families and staff, or in meetings, and requires excellent skills in time and stress management, a calm, patient, and a professional demeanor.
Looking for the right person to assist and lead the facility team in successfully navigating today’s healthcare hurdles.
Must have Nursing Home Administrator license in MA and in good standing.
Salary Range $115K to $122K
