Residential Living Assistant provides individualized care to the patients of a group home or residential living facility. Assists the patients on daily basis with personal care and hygiene. Being a Residential Living Assistant transports patients within the facility or on supervised outings. Administers and records medications given to residents. Additionally, Residential Living Assistant may administer medications under the supervision of a nurse or physician. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Residential Living Assistant possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. PURPOSE:
The purpose of this position is to provide direct administration to staff working in Supported/Community Living Services. Oversee the development, training, and placement of staff in order to best meet the needs of our clients. Oversee the integration and coordination of each person’s treatment program and ensure all Supported Living services are operating efficiently by following regulatory standards.
