Residential Living Assistant jobs in Lawrence, MA
Residential Living Assistant provides individualized care to the patients of a group home or residential living facility. Assists the patients on daily basis with personal care and hygiene. Being a Residential Living Assistant transports patients within the facility or on supervised outings. Administers and records medications given to residents. Additionally, Residential Living Assistant may administer medications under the supervision of a nurse or physician. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Residential Living Assistant possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. May require 0-1 year of general work experience. (Copyright 2024 Salary.com)

POSITION REQUIREMENTS :
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Aptitude and some training in arts and crafts.
- Ability to supervise group recreational activities.
- A sincere desire to work with the elderly. Must have patience, tact, enthusiasm and a cheerful disposition.
