Residential Living Supervisor jobs in Elkhart, IN

• Schedule, coordinate, and manage the daily activities for residential roofing projects
• Make sure materials and dumpster are scheduled for delivery
• Make sure the truck is stocked with supplies
• Receive, inspect, and verify all deliveries
• Ensure that roofs are installed to requirements and specifications established by building codes, and clients
• Ensure timely project completion
• Monitor project quality and cost control to safeguard profit margin
• Time sheets filled out & submitted to the office on Friday afternoon
• Implement checklists for quality control, and standard operating procedures
• Schedule inspections
• Complete Field Report
• Keep supervisor informed of project progress
• Guide and direct field employees
• Explain and ensure compliance of safety program to all site personnel
• Explain quality control standards and supervise their implementation
• Strive for no-defect roofing
• Communicate with clients on jobsites; Answer their questions and ensure that the roof meets their expectations
• Consult with clients on plan revisions and change orders
• Change orders must be signed by client & submitted to the office
• Track any repairs (time & material)
• Conduct closing walk-throughs with clients
• If tools need repair let your supervisor know

• Proven experience as a roofing supervisor is helpful
• In-depth understanding of roofing procedures & principles
• Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
• Excellent time-management skills
