Residential Living Supervisor supervises the work of a residential living staff. Provides training to resident assistants on proper care giving techniques. Being a Residential Living Supervisor may administer medications under the supervision of a nurse or physician. May require an associate degree or its equivalent. Additionally, Residential Living Supervisor typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Residential Living Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision. Qualifications: Previous management experience and experience with persons with developmental disabilities preferred.
Job requirements include a valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and the ability to transport individuals in services safely. Must have a High school diploma or GED. Candidates must have the ability to work in a Human Service setting with favorable background screens.
