Residential Living Supervisor supervises the work of a residential living staff. Provides training to resident assistants on proper care giving techniques. Being a Residential Living Supervisor may administer medications under the supervision of a nurse or physician. May require an associate degree or its equivalent. Additionally, Residential Living Supervisor typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Kiva Ranch is a residential treatment center for males, ages 12 to 17 years of age. Our experienced professional mental health team has designed a treatment center to meet the needs of those who are considered Neurodiverse.
People are described as neurodiverse when their thought patterns, behaviors, or learning styles fall outside of what is considered “normal” or neurotypical.

ABOUT THE POSITION
- Oversee the daily operations of a residential facility
- Ensure the safety and well-being of residents
- Lead and support residential team throughout shift
- Administer medications
- Manage behavior issues
- Experience in assisted living or residential care settings
- Knowledge of patient care techniques and practices
- Ability to work in a stressful environment (with children struggling with addiction, behavior regulation, autism).
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with residents, and staff
- Ability to keep calm and make executive decisions in stressful situations
- Experience in childcare or working with individuals with special needs is a plus
This position requires a caring individual who is dedicated to providing quality care to residents in a residential setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in assisted living or residential care, possess strong patient care skills, and be able to effectively manage behavior issues.
