Residential Living Supervisor supervises the work of a residential living staff. Provides training to resident assistants on proper care giving techniques. Being a Residential Living Supervisor may administer medications under the supervision of a nurse or physician. May require an associate degree or its equivalent. Additionally, Residential Living Supervisor typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Residential Living Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. The Residential Counselor will work under the supervision of the Programs Manager and work as a team with the Case Manager. The Residential Counselor will develop a trusting relationship with the residents and assist them in the following; Transition to living independently, Develop effective strategies and life skills to work towards individual personal goals, Provide overall personal support, and assist with the navigation of daily stressors.
The Residential Counselor will document case notes and Incident Reports. Help the residents follow through on their daily schedules and budgets.
Must have Drivers license and 3 years Driving experience.
Must be able to pass a Federal Background Check.
Must be able to pass a Drug test.
