Residential Property Manager manages the daily operations of one or more residential properties or communities. Oversees sales/leasing, tenant relations, maintenance, and other support activities. Being a Residential Property Manager may be responsible for managing property budgets, collections and/or property improvement initiatives. May require a bachelor's degree in related area. Additionally, Residential Property Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Residential Property Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Residential Property Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Overview
A Domestic Couple is retiring after 30 years, and their client is now seeking an experienced farm/property manager to fill the role. Candidates must be experienced working on a farm or property and be able to demonstrate skills pertaining to all the duties outlined below. The family prefers someone who is professional and highly trustworthy.
- The manager’s responsibilities include monitoring staff and livestock, purchasing supplies, and preparing budgets and reports.
- The candidate must be detail-oriented, a problem solver, focused on efficiency, and hands-on in his or her approach to management.
- Analyzing existing operations, four horses / two donkeys, hay, staff, and financial documents and recommending improvements.
- Preparing plans and schedules for planting and harvesting and ensuring staff understands expectations.
- Visiting the different divisions to inspect crops and barns and perform tests on soil and water.
- Ensuring seeds, fertilizers, and other supplies are regularly restocked.
- Scheduling repairs, maintenance, and replacement of equipment and machinery.
- Ensuring all staff adheres to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborating with senior staff
- Building professional networks and keeping abreast of developments in agricultural science.

Requirements
- Proven experience in farm/property management or a similar role.

- Within driving distance to the property
- Proficiency in using facility management software, MS Office Suite, and other relevant tools.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Availability to respond to emergencies and address facility-related issues outside of regular business hours, if required.
- Valid driver's license (if driving is necessary for property-related duties).
