Residential Property Manager manages the daily operations of one or more residential properties or communities. Oversees sales/leasing, tenant relations, maintenance, and other support activities. Being a Residential Property Manager may be responsible for managing property budgets, collections and/or property improvement initiatives. May require a bachelor's degree in related area. Additionally, Residential Property Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Residential Property Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Residential Property Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Job Summary:
Launch Property Management’s mission is to catalyze community through hospitable housing. The Assistant Property Manager's role is to support the Property Manager. The ideal candidate must possess great written and oral communication skills; assist in preparing and completing lease signings and renewals; manage tenant relations; and excel in time management. Computer skills are a must. Spanish and English fluency needed.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in property leasing activities including showing units, processing applications, and lease renewals.
- Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, securing signatures, and maintaining records.
- Support facilities management by coordinating maintenance requests and repairs.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with residents through excellent customer service.
- Follow up with newly placed refugee resettlement issues
- Assist in monitoring renewals and with pursuing delinquent payments
- Receive resident requests, comments or maintenance requests
- Bi-monthly unit inspections
- Attend all required meetings
