Job Summary
The assistant property manager will be responsible for supporting the property manager with overseeing and managing the assigned LIHTC property.
Reports To:
This role reports to the Property Manager.
Supervision:
This role has no supervisory duties.
Functions/Responsibilities:
· Support daily operations of assigned property
· Assist with all paperwork, ensuring it’s up to date and compliant
· Assist in preparing leases, contracts and certifications
· Advertise and market vacant units to attract residents
· Answer inquiries related to the property
· Schedule and complete showings for potential residents
· Maintain a positive, productive relationship with all residents
· Other duties as assigned
Competencies:
· 1 years’ experience as property manager or related role
· Full understanding of property management and its financial aspects
· In-depth knowledge of all rules and regulations surrounding property management, specifically LIHTC
· Competency in Onesite and relevant databases and software
· Customer focus and bottom-line orientation
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills
· Well organized with excellent time management skills
· Microsoft Office
Education:
· High school diploma or equivalent
