Residential Property Manager jobs in Queens Village, NY

FirstService Residential is looking for an On-Site Assistant Property Manager to join our team at a cooperative property in Flushing, Queens! Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Assist the Property Manager with the day-to-day management of the onsite property.
• Catalog files containing building info. into folders, remove & reclassify files.
• Update condo/co-op questionnaires through WelcomeLink
• Handle duties pertaining to annual meetings such as preparation of notices, proxies and etc.
• Responsible for property arrears including tracking arrears at least twice per month, sending arrears letters to the appropriate list of owners/tenants, and reviewing and discussing the arrears reports with the property manager when needed.
• Write, prepare, and distribute all notices, and other correspondences in regards to building changes, updates, or property information.
• Attend board meetings, annual meetings after hours. Aid in coordinating meetings across varies virtual platforms.
• Assist with projects as assigned by manager.
• Continue to update associates on companywide operations best practices.
• Organize and coordinate team meetings.
• Input bills into system for payment to vendors.
• Answering phone calls and emails in a timely matter.
• Input charges and credits for managers.
• May participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified. level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, policies, and regulatory guidelines.
• Oversee and maintain clients' governing documents as they pertain to By-Laws, Rules, Apartment Sales/Sublets, and Insurances.

Knowledge, Skills, and Proficiencies:

• Two (2) years' experience in New York City residential condominium and cooperative property management.
• Must have superior verbal and written communications skills and proven customer service exposure.
• Need to have a high energy type of attitude to deal with the day to day tasks and able to multi-task under pressure and stressful situations.
• Must be extremely organized, consistent, and flexible and adaptable to change.
• Proven leadership and teamwork skills and attributes.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft office and Windows environment necessary.
• Experience with AvidXchange, BuildingLink, ClickPay is a plus.
