Residential Property Manager manages the daily operations of one or more residential properties or communities. Oversees sales/leasing, tenant relations, maintenance, and other support activities. Being a Residential Property Manager may be responsible for managing property budgets, collections and/or property improvement initiatives. May require a bachelor's degree in related area. Additionally, Residential Property Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Residential Property Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Residential Property Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     • Pay - $26.00 - 30.00/hr. depending upon skills and experience related to the role

    Position Details

    The Assistant Community Manager (Assistant Property Manager) assists the Community Manager in ensuring a positive working environment, quality community living, and a high standard of operations to meet IMT’s objectives. 

    • Assist residents and provide outstanding customer service that will build lasting relationships
    • Perform bookkeeping including rent collection, delinquency and move-out statements
    • Lease available apartments
    • Renew existing leases
    • Stay abreast of Fair Housing laws and regulations
    • Conduct market research, project leasing activity, and assist with business outreach marketing, resident functions, and other promotional programs
    • Use MRI software to enter information and pull various reports
    • Additional projects and/​or duties as assigned by Community Manager 

    Please apply if you have:

    • Multi-family housing experience
    • General knowledge of property bookkeeping and the desire to learn more about financials
    • Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to connect with a variety of people
    • Verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong organizational, multi-tasking and problem solving skills
    • The ability to work well in a high volume and sometimes stressful environment
    • The ability to make sound business decisions
    • A positive attitude, and the desire to learn and develop your skills
    • College education helpful
    • Availability to work weekends may be required because that is when many customers and your team may need you
    • Computer skills with MRI experience a plus
    • Active and valid driver license is required
