Being a Residential Property Manager may be responsible for managing property budgets, collections and/or property improvement initiatives. May require a bachelor's degree in related area. Additionally, Residential Property Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Residential Property Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Residential Property Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. This full time position is responsible for oversight of the Administrative Support staff, and in the absence of the Residential Valuation Supervisor in South County and/or the Residential Valuation Manager in North County, provides direction to Appraisers in both locations. In addition to supervisory responsibilities, this position has an assigned residential zone that includes conducting appraisals. Activities include oversight of research and available market data collection of field data, discussions with taxpayers, and verification and reconciliation of available data in order to indicate just values for properties and preparation of appraisal and Value Adjustment Board cases. Reports to the Residential Valuation Manager.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university and four (4) years of related experience and CFE or state certification required as well as management experience (finance and economics background).
Varying combinations of education and experience will satisfy required minimum requirements. Must be computer literate with MS Excel and Word and possess a valid Florida driver’s license.
