Residential Property Manager manages the daily operations of one or more residential properties or communities. Oversees sales/leasing, tenant relations, maintenance, and other support activities. Being a Residential Property Manager may be responsible for managing property budgets, collections and/or property improvement initiatives. May require a bachelor's degree in related area. Additionally, Residential Property Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Residential Property Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Residential Property Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     Responsibilities

    • Oversee, maintain, and inspect all designated buildings and properties
    • Coordinate ongoing maintenance and inspections to comply with all relevant laws, codes, and company policies
    • Select tenants through interviews and background checks
    • Collect rent, pay invoices, and analyze operating statements
    • Prepare the annual budget and report on financial performance regularly
    • Manage on-site staff, and vendor and contractor relationships
    • Address tenant complaints, violations, and problems
    • Prepare and maintain all records, correspondence, and files
    • Establish and maintain relationships with tenants

    Qualifications

    6 months - 1 year of experience in property management preferred

    • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Proven ability to comply with operational policies and procedures, codes, and regulations
    • Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English
    • Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
    • Strong familiarity and working knowledge of affordable housing laws and anti-discrimination legislation
    • Low Income Tax Credit experience is required
    • HUD experience is required

    Pay $20.00-$23.00 per hour DOE Monthly commissions
