    Community Options, department of Human Resources (HR), is looking for a HR Coordinator to join their team!  This position is the administrative heart of the HR team and provides support to all employees statewide. This role supports the HR Generalist II position(s) and oversees the new hire onboarding/orientation process, to include managing the background check process. The incumbent will maintain employee records, and ensure they follow federal and state laws, and agency policies.

    The salary for this position is $20 - $22 an hour depending on experience (DOE).

    Qualifications


    Minimum Qualifications

    • Associate degree with coursework in human resources education or two years of experience performing a variety of complex office support, clerical or secretarial duties that include lead work or office coordination responsibilities; a bachelors degree or additional work experience may be used in lieu of the two years experience (copies of transcripts and degree are required at the time of offer)
    • Valid drivers license, acceptable driving record, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance for the vehicle subject to the statute of the licensing state.
    • Successfully pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and obtain ND Department of Human Service (DHS) pre-employment approval.
    • Required to successfully complete assigned training or certification programs.

    Essential Skills and Experience

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, etc.) and use of personal computers, HRIS systems a preferred
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Effective time management and organizational skills
    • Customer service experience and strong customer orientation
    • Strong team player and commitment to company values
    • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
