    Position Summary :

    The Pricing Coordinator will function as a member of the Distribution Pricing team. This individual will assist by giving guidance in pricing strategy implementation with a focus on driving improvement in gross margins by providing visibility to all components of the value chain.

    This role is expected to work autonomously with minimal direction required with a demonstrated ability to interact with and influence effectively at both a managerial and peer level.

    Responsibilities :

    The purpose of the Pricing Function is to :

    Deliver profitable growth.

    Implement and maintain accurate pricing records.

    Understand pricing practices which ensure price for value and gross margin expansion.

    Provide margin exception reporting; Analyze, evaluate, and report margin and sales data, using discretion and guidance on how to increase revenue or mitigate margin leakage.

    Interface with Suppliers on Credit Upon Proof of Sales calculation, documentation, and implementation, giving guidance on how to streamline, enhance, or modify our processes, to ensure that are financials are accurately stated.

    Analyze pricing credits to verify the proper course of action to diminish future credits.

    Ensure products and customers' sales records are analyzed and performance is evaluated against targets. Monitor product gross margins and profitability against control standards.

    Reviews product prices, approves price deviations, and implements price increases and price hold strategies.

    Support and show commitment to 's LSS improvement process. Plan strategies to ensure error-free work and convey this attitude in the daily performance of various duties.

    Coordination, support, and participation in the POL process and the situational analysis system.

    Drive measurement and tracking activities including all pricing dashboards.

    Qualifications

    BS in Business or applicable field

    1 3 years relevant experience required.

    Ability to apply complex analytical and critical thinking skills.

    Strong Business Acumen in understanding profitability concepts relative to growth strategies.

    Requires strong math aptitude and ability to understand impacts of variables when providing pricing recommendations.

    Ability to mobilize internally and externally to set and achieve business goals; able to articulate and drive required change and translate into actionable objectives for the extended marketing network.

    Good oral and written communication skills and excellent presentation, research and project coordination skills.

    Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task.

    High customer service orientation with desire to spend significant time interacting with others. Must have strong sense of urgency and ability to deal with high stress situations in tight time frames.

    Ability to perform the function with little to no direction and oversight.

    Demonstrated ability to interact with and influence effectively at both the managerial and peer level.

    Exceptional aptitude with Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Excel, and Access; SAP experience a plus.
