Job Title: Marketing Resource Development Specialist
Position Classification: Exempt salary; benefits included;
Salary Range: $40,000 to $50,000 (base and performance pay)
Reports To: Marketing Department Head, Res Dev Department Head
JOB SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Marketing Department Head and the Resource Development Department Head, Marketing & RD Specialist (MRD Specialist) provides professional expertise and support to Clubs who are a part of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Crescent Region (BGCCR). The MRD Specialist works with member parties to implement marketing and resource development plans to meet the Clubs financial goals and objectives.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Design fliers, notices, and other resource materials.
2. Assists the development and implementation of single and multi-year membership recruitment and enrollment efforts.
3. Works in partnership with the Department Heads to shape the BGCCR's community support strategies. Plays a key support role in the execution of the annual plan of work.
4. Works closely with the public relations/communications area to develop marketing strategies to promote the Boys & Girls Club image for donor cultivation.
5. Work with member Clubs to aggressively seek new funding sources and maintain relationships with current and past donors.
6. Establishes and strengthens presence in the community to increase the Boys & Girls Clubs visibility as a funding source for potential and current or past donors.
7. Assist with the grant-writing and reporting process.
8. Assists with plannings, and implementing fundraising events.
9. Assists with the donor database of the BGCCR to ensure that it is up-to-date and well managed.
10. Strong written and verbal communication.
11. Ensures that diversity and pluralism are embraced and incorporated into the work of the council.

8. Attends administrative, member Clubs, department, and team meetings as needed.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
