Resource Development Coordinator - Higher Ed. jobs in Galveston, TX

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate degree or equivalent and one year of related experience.

Job Summary: 

To provide coordination of all phases and activities associated with university or community programs.

 Preferred Qualifications: 

• Human Resources experience is a plus.
• Grant experience is highly desirable.

Job Duties: 

The Workforce Development Coordinator will support Human Resources’ workforce development initiatives through data compilation, event coordination, and basic communication needs, among other tasks. The preferred candidate will have experience in coordinating meetings and events and will have proficiency with Microsoft’s suite of products – PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc. 

• Coordinates activities of specified projects or programs in support of project aims, goals, or objectives.
• Consult with committees or leadership to plan procedures.
• Gathers data for review and analysis of program design and outcomes.
• Assigns duties, trains, and monitors the progress of those assisting with projects.
• Interprets programs and services to individuals or groups in the community.
• Adheres to internal controls established for the department.
• Performs related duties as required.

Salary Range:

Actual salary commensurate with experience.

Work Schedule:

 Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, and as needed on occasion.
