Job Overview:
As a Program Coordinator, you will work closely with the director to enhance the quality of our program and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Essential Duties and Functions:
Your responsibilities will include managing staff morale, ensuring licensing compliance, facilitating training sessions, supporting program development, overseeing center management, fostering positive relationships with families, and assisting with recruitment efforts.
Requirements:
- Associate’s Degree in early childhood education, related field, or equivalent certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.
- Clear criminal background check, TB test, and recent physical.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and remain flexible in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Competencies:
You should be deadline-oriented with attention to detail, possess reliable transportation, maintain a professional appearance, and have the physical stamina to handle various tasks and environments.
Time Commitment:
This position requires 35-40 hours per week, with flexibility as needed.
Physical Requirements:
Candidates must be able to perform various physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, walking, bending, and more.
