TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM

The Transportation Department has a full-time job opening for a Safety Coordinator position.

This position is responsible for training new drivers, including annual training to satisfy TDOT and TNCARE contracts. Must be proactive regarding safety procedures to ensure drivers are following the agency’s policies and procedures. Must be willing to submit a pre-employment drug test and background check. Position is on-site in Martin, TN.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree, College Degree may be waived with 3 years of relevant experience.

· Must possess good human relation skills with the ability to communicate effectively

• Must have good judgement and temperament to effectively and diplomatically deal with the public.
