    Job Description


    The Learning and Development Coordinator will participate in the delivery of bespoke training programs that are aligned with Auberge Resorts Collection initiatives and collaborations. Under the direction of the Director of Talent and Culture, this individual will be the property point of contact to ensure all departments are aligned, compliant and focused on their training needs. The L&D Coordinator will plan, coordinate, monitor, facilitate and execute existing training and team member engagement programs as well as give input on the professional development needs of the property

    • Coordinate and facilitate existing training programs that include: Service Standards, Circle Orientation Experience, Heartfelt Service, Leadership Development, Management Development Program, Certified Trainer Program and creation and communication of daily training topics.
    • Facilitate and assist with team member engagement activities to include twice yearly team member engagement survey administration, quarterly team rallies, holiday and anniversary celebrations and other team member engagement activities throughout the year.
    • Direct responsibility for the annual mandatory training calendar, ensuring full completion within targeted timelines and providing timely and accurate updates to department leaders.
    • Maintain accurate and easily accessible records and processes for all learning and development activities, including recording and monitoring attendance and completion.
    • Under the guidance of the Director of Talent and Culture, serve as the training point of contact for the property and assist with questions, planning and program development.
    • Become a trusted partner with all department leaders and have a full understanding of their teams and training requirements
    • Continually update all training to ensure adherence to all state and federal requirements.

    Qualifications
    • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
    • Must have excellent technical/computer skills, be competent working in Google Workspace and be able to develop creative, interesting and appealing collateral and training materials.
    • Experience as a training speaker/facilitator having a track record of impactful and effective program delivery.
    • Excellent relationship building skills with the ability to connect with an audience.
    • Strong attention to detail and advanced preparation.
    • Self-starter and always proactive with the ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment and able to work with with minimal supervision.
    • Experience in the hospitality industry as a trainer is preferred.
    • HS graduate required and an advanced degree in a related field is preferred.
    • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is highly preferred.

    This position starts at $27.00/hour.
