Family Resource Coordinator

  • Job Summary: The Family Resource Coordinator will function with a high level of independent judgement and self-direction, in which they will engage, mobilize, educate, and advocate for the neurodiversity community at large, while simultaneously acting as the primary liaison to the leadership team for managing all non-clinical resources for patients and their families. Essential job functions include: develop and manage community, staff, and donor engagement activities; identify partners and key stakeholders to build partnerships and collaborate with in support of programmatic and community goals; engage the leadership team to keep a focus on community needs and relations by highlighting the community/family needs in strategic planning meetings and operational decisions; manage and uphold reputable social media accounts; develop and implement ongoing training/education opportunities; assist in events, projects, and conference planning; collaborate with social work department to identify and update resources for families; manage and provide group sessions and events focused on family wellness. Minimum Qualifications:

    Bachelors degree in social work, public health, education, healthcare administration, or other related field. 2 years related experience in the following categories: community service, knowledge/experience with individuals with developmental disorders, project management, and collaborative communication with internal/external partners. Will consider equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Strong interpersonal skills, networking experience, self-motivation, and attention to detail. Knowledge of MS Office, social media platforms, digital engagement tools, virtual meeting platforms, and possessing internet research skills.

    Work Days:

    M-F daytime hours with some evening/weekend hours
