JOB SUMMARY:
Develops, implements, and controls the provision of respiratory care services in accordance with the policies of OMC and the directives of the medical staff. Responsible for all diagnostic, therapeutic respiratory care procedures for all age groups (infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics) treated at Olympic Medical Center and its satellite locations. Ensures efficient and effective departmental operations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or Respiratory Care.
Experience
Minimum three years of clinical experience with a minimum two years of increasingly responsible supervisory/managerial experience in a clinical setting.
Licensure/Credentials
Current registration with the National Board for Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
Licensed by the State of Washington as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certification required.
