Respiratory Care Manager plans and implements the overall respiratory care policies, procedures, and services. Ensures efficient and effective departmental operations. Being a Respiratory Care Manager directs the activities of the respiratory therapy section. Supervises technical staff and students. Additionally, Respiratory Care Manager prepares departmental budgets and reports. Evaluates new equipment and procedures. Typically requires RRT registration. May require a bachelor's degree. We are currently looking for a dedicated and skilled RT to fill our evening and weekend shift role. The primary duties of this RT is to complete daily respiratory therapies for our complex population of clients. This role also includes coordinator duties such as: maintaining infection control scheduled cleaning, upkeep of therapy equipment, and consulting for pulmonary residents.
Education Level: Must meet education requirement(s) for state licensure and maintain a valid state Respiratory Therapist license. Must hold RRT or CRT certification with the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). Must hold current BLS for Healthcare Provider CPR or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification. Pediatric experience preferred but not required.
General Description: Under the direct supervision of the Team Leader and Director of Nursing, provides respiratory care to the children within an assigned unit.
