Respiratory Care Manager plans and implements the overall respiratory care policies, procedures, and services. Ensures efficient and effective departmental operations. Being a Respiratory Care Manager directs the activities of the respiratory therapy section. Supervises technical staff and students. Additionally, Respiratory Care Manager prepares departmental budgets and reports. Evaluates new equipment and procedures. Typically requires RRT registration. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Respiratory Care Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be a Respiratory Care Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Responsibilities:
- Provide care and support to animals in an animal care setting
- Perform animal handling and restraint techniques to ensure the safety and well-being of animals
- Monitor and assess the health and behavior of animals under your care
- Administer medications and treatments to animals as prescribed by veterinarians
- Maintain accurate records of animal care
- Ensure that animal enclosures are clean, comfortable, and properly maintained
- Provide assistance with pet sitting services, including feeding, exercise, and basic grooming
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of animal behavior
- Experience in animal handling
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
