Respiratory Care Manager plans and implements the overall respiratory care policies, procedures, and services. Ensures efficient and effective departmental operations. Being a Respiratory Care Manager directs the activities of the respiratory therapy section. Supervises technical staff and students. Additionally, Respiratory Care Manager prepares departmental budgets and reports. Evaluates new equipment and procedures. Typically requires RRT registration. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Respiratory Care Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be a Respiratory Care Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Regional Home Care is currently searching for licensed Respiratory Therapists for patients in Concord / Guilford NH and the surrounding areas. We offer a collaborative, team-based environment with extensive training to ensure confidence and success of our staff and patients. You will be able to make an impact on the lives of our patients, have the autonomy to manage your workload and receive ongoing training and support. 

     

    What you’ll do as a Respiratory Therapist:

    Respiratory Therapists provide physician-directed therapy, including but not limited to: 

    • Perform CPAP/BiPAP and ventilator set ups
    • Provide mask fittings for patients
    • Troubleshooting of machines
    • Educate patients on the maintenance and cleaning of all supplies and equipment. 
    • Be able to demonstrate this expertise upon request after being trained in the operation of all equipment relevant to the associated therapies

     

    Required Qualifications:

    • Respiratory Therapists must carry current RCP license in the State of New Hampshire 
    • Must be able to see in-home patients 
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
    • Be able and comfortable lifting medical equipment up to 25 – 50 pounds.
