    Description

    Northwest Respiratory Services is a leading provider of oxygen & respiratory products throughout the Midwest & Northern Rockies. We are currently in search of a Revenue Cycle Manager – Back End Billing Office that will provide overall leadership and vision to the Back-End billing office supervisors, and staff; including Nursing Home, VA, and Collections.

    Working from our Eagan, MN office, this role works closely and in coordination with the VP of Billing Department. They will provide strategic direction, process improvement and workflow direction, and team/ leadership development for the billing office.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Develops strategic plans, policies, and procedures for the Revenue Cycle team, ensuring clear goals, consistent company-wide implementation, and effective monitoring of department activities.
    • Designs the organizational structure and streamlines functional activities for optimal resource utilization within the Revenue Cycle team.
    • Conducts in-depth candidate assessments, aligning personal values with the company's CORE values during the hiring process, and oversees regular meetings for effective communication and performance improvement.
    • Implements Performance Improvement Programs, including coaching, counseling, and mentoring, while acting as a subject matter expert on relevant training programs for the Revenue Cycle team.
    • Collaborates with Supervisors to establish performance measures, regularly reviews and evaluates team performance, and consolidates status reports to monitor weekly progress.
    • Ensures compliance with HIPAA regulations, overseeing the display of privacy practices, secure record storage, and coordination of training programs on HIPAA, OSHA, and risk management in conjunction with HR and the Compliance Officer.

    Qualifications


    Top Candidates will have:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • 3-5 years of medical terminology/billing experience
    • 3-5 years of management/leadership experience
    • Experience developing, maintaining, and producing reports based on computerized record management systems such as personnel activities and information
    • Strong interpersonal skills and customer service skills
    • Ability to work independently, organize and manage multiple priorities

    Additional Preferred

    • Previous experience in HME billing, process and workflow improvement, and team/leadership development is strongly preferred.
    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or related degree.
    • Brightree software experience.
    • Bilingual is a plus!
