This reputable 150 bed Hospital in Central Washington is actively seeking a Manager to lead the Pulmonary Care department. This person will join an excellent clinical services program at a health system that has a great reputation for patient care. This facility has been a staple of the community for over 50 years, and has earned awards and recognition for going above and beyond.

Reporting to the Regional Director of Pulmonary Services, the Respiratory Services Manager will primarily lead a team of Respiratory Therapists in an inpatient environment. This person will also have the chance to support outpatient respiratory therapy programming through the community clinics, family practices, and long-term care programs associated with the hospital.

This is the perfect growth opportunity for a WA Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner who has 2 years of experience supervising or leading clinical operations, to take on a formal, titled role in hospital leadership. You’ll receive mentorship and direction from a tenured inpatient ancillary services leaders, and you’ll be given the opportunity to grow and develop.

The Manager Pulmonary Services will serve as the subject matter and practice expert for high-acuity pulmonary conditions. Working in concert with Nursing and Physician Leadership, the Respiratory Care Manager will treat both inpatient and ambulatory populations with conditions such as chest infections, pneumonia, emphysema, and asthma. 

Importantly, the Manager Pulmonary Services will serve as both a clinical and administrative resource for this Respiratory Therapy Department. This person will be on the front line of patient education and clinical care, and directly support nursing education in the process. The Manager will also have responsibility for owning regulatory compliance and survey readiness for this service line, as well as fiduciary oversight of its operations.
