Respiratory Therapist- Part Time/ Per Diem position *Wednesday availability*

-Pay commensurate with experience-

Job Description:

• Provides instruction to patients and/or caregivers on the proper use of equipment and/or respiratory care procedures. 
• Educates patients and/or caregivers to ensure equipment is operated and maintained effectively. 
• Provides and operates various types of respiratory care equipment including but not limited to oxygen therapy, apnea monitoring, suctioning, nasal CPAP, BiPAP, and ventilation.
• Inspects and tests equipment to ensure proper operating condition.
• Prepares and maintains a record for each patient including all necessary paperwork
• Consults with referring physician regarding patient treatment, medical condition and home environment.
• Completes ongoing education and training sessions regarding respiratory patient care.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• At least one year related experience in required
• You must have one of the following valid licenses: LPN, RN, or RT (either RRT or CRT)
• Must be willing to travel
• Must possess a valid and current driver's license and auto insurance.
